Rob Watt

Rob Watt is a director, dramaturg and facilitator. I collaborate with writers, communities, poets, designers to try to make sense of the fractured world we live in. Right now I am fascinated with cults, rage, and 80's adventure movies. I am currently an Associate at Headlong Theatre and regularly teach at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and ALRA.
I previously produced participatory work for young people at the National Theatre (2011-2016), was a Lead Artist at Lyric Hammersmith, an Artist Mentor at the Barbican and was Associate Director at Immediate Theatre (2003 - 2011). Work that I have produced, developed, story-ed and directed have appeared at The Roundhouse, The Vaults, The Bush Theatre, The National Theatre, The Lyric, Theatre 503. I have also developed TV work for The BBC and Battersea Arts Centre.
