The COIN Model

The COIN model is a useful model for helping people frame developmental feedback that can feel difficult to share or articulate. It provides a handy structure to prepare and deliver the conversation ensuring the message is clear, fair and delivered succinctly. COIN stands for Context, Observation, Impact and Next Steps.
