Overview
inrehearsal in partnership with ACS International Schools presents ‘Hacking Neurodiversity’ – telling the unfiltered stories of people, students, teachers, parents, and young adults working with and learning with neurodiversity. Combining expert insight, informative interviews and lived experiences, the docuseries aims to build awareness, increase understanding and start the neurodiversity conversation for you and your organisation.
What’s Included?
The Hacking Neurodiversity boxset includes a collection of short documentaries and resources combining expert insight with real-life experiences. The videos will focus on family life, employment, education, relationships, diagnosis, etc. designed to help raise awareness and increase education. Share the content across your organisation, embed into courses and pathways, include in your DE&I strategies – the boxset is free, no limitations or restrictions.
Why it’s important
We wanted to showcase the unfiltered experiences of people who are living, learning and working with neurodiversity. We hear from parents, teachers, young people, students, working professionals and neurodiversity experts who have stories to share, to help raise awareness and understanding in 2023.

Graeme Lawrie MBE, Director Of Partnerships, ACS School
Graeme is a qualified teacher and has been teaching for 22 years, specialising in Technology, Computing, Electronics and Design. Graeme has been awarded an MBE for his ‘Services To Education’ as part of the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2020. Graeme received the Lloyds Register Trust teacher of the year in 2003, Pearson Teacher of the year in 2005 and was named by TES as one of the top 5 UK Science Educators in 2012. He is passionate about social mobility and increased social capacity through education, and has worked with hundreds of schools, refugee camps and other charities over the last 10 years to give many opportunities to those in less fortunate circumstances.
The View School
The View School is an independent special school providing education for young people with Social Emotional and Mental health difficulties, including a diagnosis of an autistic spectrum condition, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, oppositional defiance disorder, pathological demand avoidance, and post-traumatic stress disorder during secondary and post-16 phases of education.
